Ashwani Verma
Mr. Ashwani Verma, 67 years old is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and is a commerce graduate from the Punjab University. He also has the distinction of being the Founding Chairman of the Gurgaon Branch of the ICAI. He started his professional career in the year 1979 when he qualified as a chartered accountant thereafter having had a long, successful stint of over 40 years as a practicing chartered accountant. He has also served in the Board of Directors of various large infrastructure companies. He also held the position of the Chairman of the Gurgaon Income Tax Bar Association for a complete decade. He was facilitated with the award for “commendable contribution to the activities of the profession” in the year 2015.
He has catered to a multitude of clients, ranging from big- corporates, MNCs, Foreign Companies to HNIs. He has a vast and rich experience in the field of finance and taxation. He provides consultancy in accounting, taxation, audit planning & development, project financing and other corporate matters and is a favorite among the foreign clients for providing one-stop solution of setting up their presence in India.
He runs a CA firm serving more than 2000 clients in Gurgaon, specializing in statutory audit, internal audit, taxation and company secretary matters. His firm has conducted several bank audits over the years. His firm has also been the statutory and branch auditors of various banks.
Mr. Ashwani Verma, apart from being the authority in taxation matters, is also a big foodie and plays cricket in his spare time, having also served as the vice-president of the district cricket association. He is also a member of the Rotary Club since the last 30 years, wherein he has held various positions to serve the community.
